Our 3528 Pre-
Wired SMDs (Surface Mount Device) are only 3.5mm x 2.8mm and comes with cables soldered onto the backside or sides allowing the wiring to lay flat in the same direction. Soldering SMDs is very difficult, but these pre-
wired units take all the work out of it for the modeler. Each unit comes with a soldered on resistor (1,000 Ohm) for 12v-
18v operation. These units will also light up at 9v, but will be slightly dimmer.
Size: 3528 SMD LED (about 3.5mm x 2.8mm)
Wire leads are about 15cm in length
Forward Voltage: 3.2 typical; 3.6v max
1000 Ohm resistor included for 12v operation; works at 9v

Soldering SMDs is very difficult, but these pre-wired units take all the work out of it for the modeler. These 3528 SMDs come with pre-soldered micro litz wired leads attached on the back of the unit with both leads laying flat and coming off the SMD in the same direction. Each unit comes with a resistor for 12v operation (not pre-soldered). This addition to our line of SMDs is perfect for lighting interior spaces and where larger flood lights are needed, but space is limited.! More square in shape than our 3020 SMDs and much brighter than our 0805 SMD these 3528 are only 3.5mm x 2.8 mm and are a great size for lighting for a variety of model applications.
