5 PACK SMALLEST SMD GREEHN Pre-Wired with SOLDERED LEAD WIRES and RESISTOR for 9-12v
These are the smallest light source we offer, much, much smaller than our 0402 SMDs and are like the head of a straight pen... they are that small! In fact, these are so small that the normal numeric numbering system really doesn't apply with these. That is why we call these units "SMALLEST SMD"
If you think soldering normal size SMDs are difficult soldering these is just about impossible without specialized equipment and a microscope. These units are coated with a small amount of clear epoxy to help secure the SMD to the soldered wires. Our pre soldered units
take all the work out of it! The SMALLEST SMD units are absolutely the smallest available for in scale modeling! Custom manufactured for HDAmodelworx.
Each unit comes with a soldered on resistor for 9-12v operation.

Soldering SMDs is very difficult, but these pre-wired units take all the work out of it for the modeler. These 0402 SMDs come with pre-soldered micro litz wired leads attached on the back of the unit with both leads laying flat and coming off the SMD in the same direction. Each unit comes with a resistor for 12v operation (not pre-soldered). Perfect for adding lighting to really small models or tight spaces that any other light source can’t fit. A good example would be strobes, navs, engine ports, and thrusters on small scale model kits like the 2500 and 1000 scale from Round2/AMT. One of the smallest and brightest light sources available the units are just a smaller than a match head!
