These are the smallest light source we offer, much, much smaller than our 0402 SMDs and are like the head of a straight pen... they are that small! In fact, these are so small that the normal numeric numbering system really doesn't apply with these. That is why we call these units "SMALLEST SMD"

If you think soldering normal size SMDs are difficult soldering these is just about impossible without specialized equipment and a microscope. These units are coated with a small amount of clear epoxy to help secure the SMD to the soldered wires. Our pre soldered units take all the work out of it! The SMALLEST SMD units are absolutely the smallest available for in scale modeling! Custom manufactured for HDAmodelworx. Each unit comes with a soldered on resistor for 9-12v operation.
