SMD Lighting

The absolutely smallest light source we provide. Perfect tiny light source for small in scale lighting. Custom made for HDAmodelworx these light sources are so small that they are perfect for the need for tiny lights, small models, need for small lights that don't overpower by being to bright. When you need the tiniest light source available these are the right choice.

This addition to our line of SMDs is perfect for small models or really tight places where normal LEDs or larger SMDs are just not practical. Not much larger than the head of a pen these units are only 0.4mm x 0.2 mm in size which makes them great for a vast number of model applications

These 0603 SMDs come pre-wired with wire leads and are encased in resin to protect the SMD and make it practically non-removable from the wire leads. Each unit comes with free (unattached) resistors for 12v option.

This is our new blinking/flashing SMD/LED unit. These SMDs are the smallest available self blinking/flashing units ever manufactured! Perfect small blinking light for many model applications. This unit which flashes at 1.5HZ on average will light between 85 to 95 times per minute.

Each SMD Led is pre-wired for 12V ~ 18V and is 2.00mm x 1.25mm in size. One of the smallest light sources available today and performs great for many modelling applications!.

This is our new special effect 0805 FLICKERING SMD/LED unit. These SMDs are the smallest available self flickering. We have had these units custom manufactured to provide the smallest formfactor self flickering units possible. Great for FX such as fire, thrusters, engine and other FX where you need a variable flickering effect without a need for a custom FX board or the space for larger LEDs that just won't fit!

This is our special effect 0805 PULSATING SMD/LED unit. These SMDs are the smallest available for this type of FX. These units have been custom manufactured to provide the same type of pulsating fx as in our 3mm and 5mm pulsating LEDs, but in a much smaller form factor to provide great FX such for thrusters, engines and other FX where you need a pulsating effect without a need for a custom FX board or the space for larger LEDs that just won't fit!

Each 1206 SMD Led is pre-wired with lead wires and resistors for 12V. AN excellent mid range SMD for many model applications!

NEW COLORS NOW AVAILABLE! Used to perfectly light the planetary flood lights (white) on the 350 scale Enterprise Refit model kit! Rectangular in shape and at only 3mm x 2 mm these SMDs are a great size for lighting in a variety of model applications.

More square in shape than our 3020 SMDs and much brighter than our 0805 SMD these 3528 are only 3.5mm x 2.8 mm and are a great size for lighting for a variety of model applications.

Each 3528 SMD LED is pre-wired for 12V ~ 18V operation with a 1000 ohm resistor and is about 9.5mm x 10.5mm in size. This isn’t the smallest light source we offer, but it is perfect to cast a lot of light in an area where you need a very flat light source.
